MCP server
A hosted Model Context Protocol server that lets AI assistants manage your store with a scoped key.
OpenStock runs a hosted Model Context Protocol server. Connect it to an AI assistant and it can read your catalog and orders, create products and coupons, and edit and publish your theme, all limited to the scopes on the key you give it.
https://openstock.dev/api/mcpWhat you can ask#
- “Which products sold best last week, and which are out of stock?”
- “Create a 15% coupon called SPRING15 that ends on April 30.”
- “Add a FAQ section to the storefront and give me a preview link.”
- “Raise every product in the Software category by 10%.”
How it fits together#
The server is a thin layer over the Store API: each tool maps to one endpoint, uses the same validation and rate limits, and runs against the key’s store only. Theme changes are saved as drafts; nothing goes live until the assistant calls publish_theme.
