Customers and store balance
Inspect customer purchases and manage the store-scoped balance API.
Inspect customer purchases and manage the store-scoped balance API. Follow the steps below in the selected store’s dashboard.
Set it up#
Open Customers
Choose the correct store and open Core → Customers.
Find the account
Search by the customer’s email or identifying details and check the purchase history.
Review balances carefully
A customer balance belongs to a particular store. It is different from your cryptocurrency wallet balance.
Automate only when needed
Use the Customer Balance API with a key carrying customer_balance_api permission for supported lookups and balance changes.
Credit and debit workflows#
Record your own reference for each adjustment and inspect the API response. Network errors can leave the outcome uncertain, so check the transaction history before repeating a request.
Keep identities consistent#
Use the same buyer email when matching a storefront purchase to a customer. Do not assume that a display name uniquely identifies an account.
Balance at checkout#
A balance payment requires the relevant customer session and enough available balance. Enabling the method does not grant a balance to every visitor.
If something does not work#
What to check
If a balance appears missing, confirm the store, email, customer session, and adjustment history. Do not confuse a store customer balance with funds available for a wallet withdrawal.
Still stuck? Contact support with the store, affected page, and relevant order or request reference.
