Serials and license keys
Load and manage the finite items delivered to buyers after payment.
Load and manage the finite items delivered to buyers after payment. Follow the steps below in the selected store’s dashboard.
Set it up#
Prepare your stock
Prepare the keys or items in the format expected by the product editor. Keep unrelated notes and formatting out of the stock input.
Add keys to the right product
Choose the product and, when applicable, its variant before loading stock.
Check available quantity
Verify the stock count and per-order limits. Do not list more finite items than you can fulfill.
Verify a completed order
Check that a confirmed purchase received the expected quantity and that delivered stock is no longer offered as available.
Treat stock as sensitive#
Keys are the goods you are selling. Do not publish a stock file in a storefront theme, a screenshot, a public code example, or a support message.
Restocking#
Add new unused keys when stock gets low. Before importing a batch, remove duplicates and verify that the keys are valid for the product edition you are selling.
Do not reuse a delivered key#
A delivered item may already have been redeemed. Investigate a failed activation against the order and product before making a replacement.
If something does not work#
What to check
If stock is unexpectedly unavailable, check recent orders and the selected variant. A stock display is not a guarantee that an old saved cart can still purchase that quantity.
Still stuck? Contact support with the store, affected page, and relevant order or request reference.
