Configure card payments using the Stripe settings supported by your store. Follow the steps below in the selected store’s dashboard.
Set it up#
Prepare your Stripe account
Use a Stripe account that is ready to process the products you sell. Resolve account restrictions in Stripe before testing your store.
Open the Stripe method
Go to Payments → Payment methods and open Stripe.
Enter the requested credentials
Copy the relevant key from the matching Stripe environment. Do not mix test credentials with a live transaction.
Enable and verify
Save, enable the method, and confirm that a supported product checkout offers Card. Check the resulting payment in Stripe and in the order record.
Provider and store state#
An enabled toggle does not override an invalid key, a restricted provider account, or a product’s payment restrictions. Diagnose the provider response alongside the platform’s order status.
Test and live payments#
Use the environment supported by your configured integration. The onboarding and embed documentation demos are demonstrations and do not validate your Stripe credentials or send a charge.
If something does not work#
What to check
For declined or failed payments, inspect the provider’s reason and whether the correct credentials and account mode are configured. Never ask a buyer to send their full card number or security code to support.
