How delivery works
Choose how buyers receive a purchase and verify delivery after payment.
Choose how buyers receive a purchase and verify delivery after payment. Follow the steps below in the selected store’s dashboard.
Set it up#
Choose the delivery type
Open the product editor and choose the delivery method that matches your product: keys, a download, buyer instructions, or a configured integration.
Provide the content
Add the actual keys, public file link, or message. A title and price alone do not supply anything to deliver.
Test payment and delivery separately
Use the onboarding demo to explore checkout. To verify real fulfillment, use a live order and inspect what the buyer receives.
Review the order
Check the completed order, the delivery information, and the receipt sent to the buyer’s email address.
Payment must be confirmed#
Reaching a return page or receiving a browser event does not prove that a payment has settled. Delivery should follow the platform’s confirmed order state.
Custom line items#
A Checkout API session with custom line_items does not turn an arbitrary description into a configured product delivery. Use product_ids for products already in the store, or fulfill custom goods in your own backend after verifying the completed session.
Support and missing delivery#
Ask the buyer for the order reference and purchase email. Check payment status, available stock, the saved delivery configuration, and the delivery link before resending anything.
If something does not work#
What to check
An unpaid or confirming order is not a delivery failure. For a paid order, inspect stock, the product’s delivery settings, and whether the download can be accessed without signing into your personal account.
Still stuck? Contact support with the store, affected page, and relevant order or request reference.
