Create your first store
Go from a new account to a storefront, a product, and a working checkout.
Go from a new account to a storefront, a product, and a working checkout. Follow the steps below in the selected store’s dashboard.
Set it up#
Choose what you sell
Start onboarding and choose a product category. The choice personalizes the demo; you can change your catalog later.
Name your store
Enter a name, an available store address, and a short description. Check the address before creating the store: it is used in shared links.
Add something to sell
Create a product with a title, price, and delivery method. For keys or files, add actual stock or a download before publishing.
Connect payments
Open Payments → Payment methods. Enable a method you have configured with the correct account credentials, then save.
Walk through checkout
Open the storefront in a separate browser session. Check the product, price, email field, available payment methods, and delivery instructions.
Try before you launch#
Onboarding includes an interactive storefront and checkout demonstration. You can change quantities and complete a sample purchase there. The demo does not charge a card, create an order, or prove that your real payment account is connected.
Finish at your own pace#
Branding, your first product, and payment setup can be finished later. Your dashboard checklist keeps track of the remaining work. A store with no configured payment method cannot accept a normal paid order.
Check a real payment#
The demo and a live transaction serve different purposes. When you are ready, make a small real purchase using a payment method you control and verify both the order status and delivery. A real purchase may incur provider fees.
If something does not work#
What to check
If checkout has no payment options, check that a method is enabled for this store and has not been disabled on the product or variant.
Still stuck? Contact support with the store, affected page, and relevant order or request reference.
